The NRU-1C™ is a self-contained nodal seismic recording unit with 1 channel of 24-bit digitization, internal and/or external battery, internal or external geophone, integrated high sensitivity GNSS/GPS, and high-speed USB data download. Automated Deployment System - ADS V2 or "The Automator"
The ADS V2 is an automated deployment system for planting NRU 1C™ nodes “true vertical” into the ground, that are consistently well coupled and guided by high precision GPS navigation. The ADS V2 allows the deployment of 48 nodes (before reloading) with no touch required from an operator. The NuSeis™ download and charging racks, designed for the NuSeis™ crates, are rugged and robust and install inside standard computer server rack. The system is scalable and modular based on specific crew performance needs (how many channels rolled per day).

GTI provides a full suite of NRU manual deployment and retrieval tools with proven effectiveness in most environments. The tools solution the soil to provide the NRU recording node an ideal EarthGrip nesting site with exceptional ground coupling. Deployment and retrieval is rapid, safe and environmentally friendly with minimal to no ground disturbance. Vertical and quality plants can be achieved more easily and consistently than using surface geophones.
